Now in its 4th year Isle be Jammin' Performer's Showcase is the brainchild of Kirk Fuhrmeister, longtime Islander (35 Years) musician, singer, songwriter, repairman and teacher.

The whole idea here is to encourage people to develop and share their talents and assist them in anyway possible.

As owner operator of Friday Harbor's Mellowoods and Music Store for 8 years in the 1990s, Kirk spearheaded dozens of musical events including the popular New Works Circuit Songwriters Showcase, Island Musician's Scholarship Fund Concerts at The San Juan Community Theatre, and hosted numerous concerts in The Back Room at Mellowoods.

He has had his finger on the musical pulse of this community for years and years.
