• You can open an IRA or Roth IRA account for as little as $250.00. Regular withdrawal from your bank account is an excellent plan for building up your retirement funds. The maximum annual contribution is $4,000. Over age 50 is $5,000.
  
  
• Independent contractors can set aside up to 25% of their adjusted gross income (up to a maximum of $41,000) into a SEP Plan.

Background

Insurance, Finance and Estate Planning activities since 1987. Prior careers include the U.S. Air Force, followed by Government Service as a multi-sensor reconnaissance/intelligence specialist. Participated as a photo interpreter in the Cuban Missile Crisis -- assisted in preparing the photos used at the UN. Primary author of the first training manual on interpreting high resolution radar images. Instrumental in the start-up of four high-tech firms; mergers and acquisitions; and turnaround management of Chapter 11 companies. Supplemental activities included volunteer work providing gifting and estate planning counsel for the American Cancer Society.
