Wedding Announcement: Griss/Merlino
Jessica L. Griss and Patrick J. Merlino were wed Saturday, October 14, 2006 at the San Juan Island Yacht Club. The ceremony was performed by Archie Brooks. The bridesmaids, clad in floor-length apple-red dresses, included matron of honor Charis Pruitt Jessica C. Merlino and Crystal Bullard. The groomsmen wore black tuxedos with charcoal gray vests and bowties. The groomsmen were best man Brien Sesby, Gary Griss, Michael Ahbel and Jameson Dreyfous. Joshua Porter was the usher. A delicious dessert reception followed the nuptials, with sparkling cider, cheesecake, chocolate cake, chocolate-dipped fruit, cookies and pound cake. The bride is the daughter of Martin and Diane Griss of the Washington Coast formerly of Friday Harbor, and the granddaughter of Gene and Darlene Loucks of Lincoln, Nebraska. The groom is the son of Richard and Carol Merlino of Friday Harbor. He is the grandson of Dorthea Merlino of Friday Harbor; Bud and Mary Allison; and Ken and Maureen Hagen all of Arizona. Following a wedding trip to Whistler, B.C., the Merlinos are at home in Friday Harbor. |
