Wedding announcement: Howard/Menter

Mary and Larry Sliger and Verne Howard are pleased to announce the wedding of their daughter Ashley Jennifer Howard to Andrew Menter on July 30, 2005. The wedding took place on San Juan Island at the home of the bride's friends, Greg and Jane Gerhardstein.

It was a beautiful outdoor wedding, at sunset, attended by friends and family from all over the United States and Canada. A cocktail reception followed the ceremony and then guests were treated to dinner and dancing at the wedding site. The couple spent three weeks on honeymoon touring South Africa. Ashley and Andrew Menter make their home in San Diego where Andrew is CEO of Highland Campus Health Group and Ashley works for a software developer, Websense, in marketing and product development.

Libbey Howard and Nigel Oswald wed

Mary and Larry Sliger, and Verne Howard are pleased to announce the wedding of their daughter, Libbey Howard, to Nigel Oswald. The wedding took place at Puerto Morelos, on the Riviera Maya, Mexico on March 25, 2005. A small beach wedding, followed by a reception on a deck overlooking the beach was attended by friends and family from Great Britain and various locals in the United States. The groom is a British citizen. The couple currently makes their home in San Francisco, where Nigel is co-owner and co-founder of IOIntegration and Libbey attends graduate school at the University of San Francisco, working towards her MBA.

Libbey Howard and Nige Oswald engaged

Mary and Larry Sliger and Verne Howard are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Libbey Howard, to Nige Oswald. Libbey is a 1997 graduate of Friday Harbor High School, a graduate of the University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia and is currently studying for her MBA at the University of San Francisco. Nige graduated from Plymouth University and is a co-founder and co-owner of IO Integration in San Francisco. Wedding plans are pending. The couple will reside in San Francisco after the wedding and have plans to move to Friday Harbor after Libbey receives her MBA.

Ashley Howard and Andrew Menter

Larry and Mary Sliger and Verne Howard are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter Ashley Howard to Andrew Menter. Ashley is a 1994 graduate of Friday Harbor High School, a 1998 graduate of Duke University, and will graduate with her MBA from Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in May. Andrew is a graduate of Brown University and received his post-graduate degrees from the University of Houston. The couple plan to be married on San Juan Island in late summer of 2005. They hope to make their home on the west coast.
