Island Airporter adds courier service

Island Airporter, San Juan Island's daily shuttle to Sea-Tac International Airport, has added daily courier services to and from the greater Seattle area. Customers can call Island Airporter at 378-7438 with their request.

In its first three months of operation, Island Airporter has served almost 500 customers and has a 100% on time record to Sea-Tac International airport. Owner John Ness said, "When you have to be there call Island Airporter.We do not get grounded by fog and wind. Come ride with us for only $39.95. You will be glad you did." Straight shot to Sea Tac offered

Press Release: Island Airporter LLC of Friday Harbor, began daily nonstop service to Sea-Tac Airport, from Friday Harbor on Thursday August 7. More than 60 passengers used the service in its first five days of operation according to owner John Ness.

Island Airporter departs Friday Harbor every morning on the 6 a.m for Anacortes, and arrives at Sea-Tac shortly after 9 a.m, dropping passengers at their gates. The return trip to Friday Harbor departs from Sea-Tac's scheduled shuttle island #2, level 3, at approximately 12:30 p.m to arrive in time for priority loading on the 3:10 p.m ferry to Friday Harbor. This puts passengers back in Friday Harbor at 4:15 p.m.

According to Ness, the nonstop service with priority loading on both boats is a hit. Being able to pass traffic by using the H.O.V lanes and arrive at the ferry terminal with priority laoding is a good combination.

Trip fares are only $39.95 for adults, and this includes ferry fare back to the island and all taxes. Round trip bookings have additional discounts, as do Senior rates and Youth rates. More information is available at www.islandairporter.com or call directly at 360-378-7438. Reservations required.
