For those of you that read this part, know that right now the Heavens are putting on such a show it will be hard to forget! The Sun is firing up and ejecting X-class solar flares that have the northern latitudes dancing at night; where the sky is clear now some folks are lucky enough to not only see the Northern Lights but also a spectacular conjunction of Venus and Jupiter; this is such a treat to watch and really gives one the feeling of a living universe as we gaze upward to behold the wonders of the mysterious canopy that has been our source of inspiration from time immemorial. Enough poetic thoughts.
Right now we have an incredibly powerful Grand Trine in Earth involving the Venus/Jupiter conjunction in Taurus, Pluto in Capricorn and Mars in Virgo. Wow. This Grand Trine will influence not only the short-term for but long-term as well and signifies a return to the practical and pragmatic. Not a bad idea considering the flailing ideas being thrown around all over the world.
My long-term readers know the drill for a retrograde Mercury, but it will be a good idea to exercise extra caution with this particular one since Mercury is in aggressive Aries right alongside Uranus. This could add a level of violence or destructive upheaval to things that go wrong because we’re not paying attention. No need to micro-manage, but definitely a need to be aware of critical points and their status. Onward!
Aries (March 21 - April 20):Okay, you can calm down now. The Grand Trine in Earth signs brings out the focus in you and you are able to get stuff done with more efficiency and calmness. Being a fire sign, you like to have fuel, and earth is your fuel to consume so you’ll be able to move swiftly and really feel the ground under you. You’re still having some tongue-tripping going on but you can get around that; just don’t say anything! Seriously, you’ll be in a better mood this week, no matter the weather. Just remember that Mercury is retrograde in your sign so it’s time for some introspection!

Something you thought was finished will suddenly come back to let you know it’s not done with you yet. This could go either way; a long-lost friend or lover could suddenly contact you, you may uncover something you thought you lost or you may find out the weak spots in a repair or project. Gemini (May 21 - June 20): The Grand Trine is helping you settle down and focus, and if you’re able to do that, manifesting stuff is easier now. Not your strongest trait, but take the time to double check and make sure the small stuff is intact. We’re talking about structural integrity here and if the foundation isn’t solid everything will unravel post haste. This week will be a good one to really hunker down and make sure your system is operating without hitches; if you find a hitch, be preemptive to avoid a malfunction later.
Cancer (June 21 - July 22): Mercury is now retrograde in your sector of Career/Highest Potential and I bet you’re losing sleep like everyone else! Between planetary stresses and solar flares, there isn’t much relief in terms of a restful night’s sleep but the Grand Trine in Earth signs is helping smooth the path. There is benevolence, for sure! Your friends are your strongest allies and listen to them to prevent yourself from impulsively shooting yourself in the foot.
Leo (July 23 – August 22): While you enjoy being busy, you prefer it on your own terms, being the Noble sign of kings. With Mercury retrograde and conjunct chaotic Uranus in your sector of Expansion, you may find that you are spending a lot of time putting out fires rather than making progress. I will suggest to you that putting our fires is a skill not many have, so while you may not like having to do it, in the long run it will serve you well due to a beautiful Grand Trine in Earth signs. It’s rare that we have conflicting yet profitable configurations like this, so keep the faith!
Virgo (August 23 - September 22): Don’t get distracted! Sagittarius (November 23 - December 20): You’re chomping at the bit and ready to take something on, but be careful! Mercury is retrograde in your fellow Fire sign Aries and is very close to chaotic Uranus in your sector of Creative Expression. This presents a quandary in terms of any writing or communication projects. If something is already planned, go for it. If something is a brand new idea, proceed with the usual caution. One foot in front of the other for now, and double check everything.
Capricorn (December 21 - January 19): Now that you’re halfway up the mountain, make sure all your gear is in top shape; Mercury in your sector of Home is retrograde and due to a conjunction with Uranus, conflicting information could be coming at you at speed. Protocol: Do it yourself. Make sure no one else touches your stuff or makes any decisions for you. Aquarius (January 20 - February 19): Mercury is now retrograde and is right next to your Ruler Uranus in your sector of thinking/communicating. The air is electrified now, just the way you like it. Do, however, engage in the retrograde Mercury protocol so you don’t shoot yourself in the foot.
Pisces (February 20 - March 20): Sooooooooooo, Mercury is now retrograde and is right next to chaotic Uranus in your sector of finances. Be very, very careful with your tax returns if you’re filling them out now. If you haven’t filled them out yet, I’d sure wait (which you’ll love, being a natural procrastinator) until the end of the month when Mercury has gone direct and is working in your favor.
