Triana's Horoscope Column October 6

Aries (March 21 - April 20):
Saturn continues to help you get your home situation sorted out. Mars, your ruler, is in an extended stay in Pisces. Since both Cancer (Saturn) and Pisces (Mars) are water signs, your fire may feel a bit dampened and you may be feeling like nobody's taking you seriously. Or perhaps you are not taking others seriously. This is a slower time now and you have trouble slowing down since speed is your middle name! Pull in your horns and take it slow.

Taurus (April 21 - May 20):
By the time the week is finished, Mercury will have joined Venus in your opposite sign of Scorpio. This lights up your sector of relationships with others, whether significant or simply stepping out into the world. As long as you aren't dragging any anchors you should be in good shape. Jupiter continues to support your desire to build a better you; the Benevolent One is touring your sector of creative expression. Get your Christmas merriment ready!

Gemini (May 21 - June 20):
Your ruler Mercury glides into intense Scorpio over the weekend, joining bright Venus who is already there. This is very good for you, Twin, as you have a chance to shore yourself up internally! This would be a wonderful time to go out and learn something! Since the weather has turned, it's time to learn! In your down time, take up a new hobby or spend some time in the library reading and learning. While your outside world is contracted, your inner world has the opportunity to expand.

Cancer (June 21 - July 22):
By the end of this weekend, half of the planets will occupy water signs. This heightens your already keen intuition, which could well come in handy in decision making. If you're in an emotional ditch, this would be a very productive time to seek professional help. One warning...don't drink too much alcohol! You may be tempted to imbibe too much and that's never productive. The New Moon in Scorpio on Saturday morning gives you a chance to uncover something that's been nagging you, enabling a solution.

Leo (July 23 - August 22):
Your intense inner fire may be feeling doused right now, since half of the planets are moving into water signs. You don't like extreme emotion or displays of same, yet you do have a sense of flair in your own expression of them. These days you may feel like retiring to your den, or perhaps you.ve been stopped in your tracks. Yech. You hate things that happen over which you have no direct control. Keep focusing on expansive Jupiter smiling away in your financial sector. Money is a good thing to have!

Virgo (August 23 - September 22):
My goodness, emotions are running high around you! And you may be feeling like you.re trying to hold back the tide. How are you supposed to get anything done around here?! Listen, Virgo, just put your head down and get it done. Don't make another's crisis your own. Half of the planets are moving into water signs, and this is actually good for you; you'll be able to get unstuck in some areas. Treat yourself to something...if you.re female, do a girlie thing like change your hairstyle or get a facial. You Virgo guys always love tools, so go get that one you've been longing for.

Libra (September 23 - October 22):
It's hard for you to understand others who are knocked off balance emotionally, since you are a mental air sign; with so many of the planets moving into emotional and deep-feeling water signs, balance may not be yours to have right now. Let it be. You can't do everything for everyone and still have something left over for yourself, especially now. Don't be tempted to overload yourself with useless information that you have no intention of using. Put your energy toward learning and following through with action.

Scorpio (October 23 - November 22):
Scorpio, if you have any hidden rage it's likely to come up now, with half the planets moving into water signs (including Mercury, Venus and the Sun in your own sign). This can create a bit of an imbalance as you try to keep up with the demands of others in your life, not to mention the demands you put on yourself. Lighten up on yourself before you get hurt! You're going to have to pick and choose your projects now since you may be tempted to think you have more energy than you really have.

Sagittarius (November 23 - December 20):
Archer, a slow time is coming up as October winds down. Fill your quiver with spare stuff to see you through, and walk carefully. While adventure has a way of finding you, the Fun Bug is getting ready to hibernate for a bit. But worry not, you're good at keeping yourself occupied. Nurture what you've begun and refrain from piling any more onto your plate. And hey, now that things are beginning to slow down, catch up with those friends you've been neglecting!

Capricorn (December 21 - January 19):
Emotions and 'expression of feelings' may be running high now, so grin and bear it. You have your own feelings and thoughts (let's call it opinions), and during the next three weeks your proposed solutions may not be welcomed. Sometimes folks just need to vent and be heard, they don't necessarily need or want anything fixed. If you know people who are perpetually wearing twisted knickers, back off. No need to get yourself all riled up, you have things to do!

Aquarius (January 20 - February 19):
You are sometimes the consummate escape artist! You manage to duck and dodge a lot of stuff coming at you, and this is a good thing because it keeps you intact. Five planets are going to be occupying intense water signs by the weekend, three of them in intense Scorpio. While you are drawn to things mysterious, if you're not careful you could become involved in something you.ll have a difficult time getting out of. Be careful where you step!

Pisces (February 20-March 20) The world is filled with so much outcry that it's likely you're not being heard, Pisces. So save your voice for singing. As we move into the time of year where singing lasts for two months, tune your voice to use it well. I'm serious! How can you keep from singing when your head is full of so many dreams?
