February 16 -22, 2004
Aries (March 21 - April 20):
You are set up for a dynamic week! Mercury in electric Aquarius sidles up to Pluto in adventurous Sagittarius. This
aspect combined with Venus in your sign gives you a power surge! This is
the time to take advantage of new contacts, ideas and brainstorming for
your next step. Wow. Just wow. Don’t delay, Aries! If you’ve been
sitting on an idea, now is the time to hatch it. Others will receive
your ideas with interest and support. You will be sitting pretty if you
take action now and stay the course.
Taurus (April 21 - May 20):
No time to rest on your laurels, Little
Bull, things are popping! You are well supported now for gaining ground
financially as well as socially. Jupiter in your fellow Earth sign Virgo
gives you more latitude than you usually have and you are open to
different ideas and a change of perspective. Hold things loosely now,
especially if they are your old ways of thinking. You don’t want to be
held back by anything now.
Gemini (May 21 - June 20):
Jupiter in Virgo is giving you some amount of
grief, especially in the department of details. Those doggone details!
You don’t have much patience for them, but still they demand your
attention. When you get an idea in your head, you want to move on it
right now! Your mind is always leagues ahead of what is realistically
possible but if you can rein yourself in and take it a step at a time,
you’ll meet with success. Discipline (ugh) is the key here. Try it! It
will be worth it.
Cancer (June 21 - July 22):
So what is a little crab supposed to do, if
you have a television?! The news everywhere is full of conflict and
distress, and being the one who wants to take care of everybody and
everything, you may be feeling overwhelmed. There is always the option
of reading instead of watching. Now is the time for some escapist
literature; we are nearing winter’s end and you will have your hands
full soon enough. Mars is holding strong in your sector of friendships,
so focus on what is good and true!
Leo (July 23 - August 22):
You like to feel the earth under your feet
even though you are of the fire element. You are a fixed sign, so making
changes is difficult for you, or it doesn’t occur to you to make them.
If it’s not broken, don’t fix it, right? Right. However, some new and
fresh ideas and events are in your circle and you are pondering now.
This is a time of movement, not stasis. As we emerge from our dens where
we’ve spent a long winter, your head is full of possibilities. Aim for
the highest and the best for yourself, and go after it!
Virgo (August 23 - September 22):
It’s likely that you’re feeling pulled
in several directions now, but you can really only move in one and do a
good job of it. Keep the distractions down without dropping the ball.
Jupiter is solidly on your side in your sign and Mars in solid Taurus is
boosting your resolve now and offering support. This is a sort of crazy
time “out there” but try not to take it home with you. Pick up that
hobby, listen to soothing music, calm your nerves, and spend quality
time with yourself.
Libra (September 23 - October 22):
As Mercury in electric Aquarius flies
next to Neptune in the same sign, you are impatient to get moving. But
what to do? It’s likely your mind is like a pinball right now, going all
over the place. Don’t get stuck in any one place for too long. Decisions
need to be made, and expedience is the key. If you can’t decide, then
practice the old adage “When in doubt, don’t.” Listen to your guts more
and your logic less. Your logic may be skewed right now due to
conflicting influences. Take it slow and just breathe!
Scorpio (October 23 - November 22):
Your focus is phenomenal; let’s hope
it’s going in the right direction! You can get obsessive if you get
worried, but remember that there’s no point doing that if something
hasn’t happened yet. Preparation is the key. Then let it go. You hate
being taken by surprise, that’s true. But at the moment you have lots of
other things to do and think about, so be sure your attention is in the
here and now. This is a time of movement and action. Don’t get caught in
the headlights!
Sagittarius (November 23 - December 20):
You are being pushed to obtain
more structure than you really find comfortable, but it will pay off! As
the world continues to change so very fast, hold to your own principles
and find out which changes are to your own advantage. Mercury, Venus and
Mars all support your goals now, so take advantage of them and set
yourself up for the long term. This is a time of reaching out and
offering your talents and abilities to those who will reward you for them.
Capricorn (December 21 - January 19):
Well Cappy, mighty changes are
afoot and you don’t have control over any of them! Dang. A good point of
this, though is that the momentum of events is something you can slip
into easily. You are not one to sit still for very long and you are a
hard worker. Now listen...expand your scope of vision. Look at how far
you’ve come! Stand back and see your achievements, pause to consider
where you might do better, then get out that trusty map and go for it.
And make some new friends along the way!
Aquarius (January 20 - February 19):
Now is the time to be bold and
strong, since others are relying on your. But who do you rely on? Don’t
be aloof. You are human too, and you have needs. There is no such thing
as a Breatharian (one who can live on air alone). You are great at
self-talk, but not everyone around you is, and it looks as if someone
really needs to hear you. So talk! Sharing your thoughts can actually
feed someone’s soul; gather them and give your best. You’ll receive the
same back.
Pisces (February 20-March 20):
As we say bye bye to February, get
ready for your time of year, where the beginnings of Spring show
themselves. Your sign is the final stage, the culmination of all that
has come before, poised for transformation into something new. Since
your Ruler, Neptune, occupies your sector of resources and Mercury is
also occupying the same sector, now is the time for you to expand into a
new line of work that will suit you better than before. Go get it.
