Slamming Into Spring

Here we go, into another busy season. As we creep out from under out
winter rocks and wonder when the sun will come out and stay for a while,
we can’t help but notice the political storms going on all around us, as
they do in an election year.
But let’s not go there. Let’s look at how we began this year, what we’ve
learned in the first two months, and what we can gather from the last of
the winter contemplations.
As Uranus moved into Pisces right at the beginning of the year and
Saturn moved into Cancer, many of us felt our worlds upended yet again,
either for better or for worse.
This is a very special year, one of commitment and compassion. As the
year moves on, we will see an awful lot of arguing about people’s
rights, and hopefully we will be able to move forward as Europe and
Canada have managed to do.
We are a very adventurous nation, we can make it through many adverse
situations. We already have. So it will continue.
As we move toward making decisions for other people, let’s keep
something in mind...if your house is burning down, would it matter who
showed up first with the water to put it out?
We could all use a face lift right now....it’s called a smile!
Aries (March 21 - April 20):
As we head toward Spring, you are moving
into solid ground. This month’s aspects are good for you to make the
move to make more money. Gather your ideas and skills and perhaps start
on a new path. In other ways, things you began a while ago will begin to
take shape now, so be attentive!
Taurus (April 21 - May 20):
What goes around comes around, and you are
able to make some real headway now with two planets in your own sign
kissing mighty Jupiter in compatible Virgo. You hate unpredictability,
and now that you’ve weathered a few storms you will be able to feel the
earth under your dainty hooves again. This is a refreshing time of year,
where the last storms of winter blow out. Open the window in your mental
attic!
Gemini (May 21 - June 20):
This month opens new doors for you in the
area of travel and learning. Two planets in solid Taurus give you the
focus you need to move ahead and keep your concentration on track.
Having been very unfocused for quite some time with Saturn having spent
time in your sign last year, you are now able to move with more freedom,
the way you like it! Your swift mind is up to speed now and you will
also have the support to gain ground.
Cancer (June 21 - July 22):
Relief is on the way now with three planets
occupying Earth signs. You need Earth as a receptacle for your emotions
and direction, and help is here now. This will be a very good month for
you to gather your forces and surge toward Spring with a flourish! If
you have something in the works, stay on it. If you are beginning
something new, you will have the support you need to move forward. It’s
happening!
Leo (July 23 - August 22):
You are in one of two places right
now....stuck or moving so fast you can’t keep up with yourself. Two
planets in Taurus make the move to give you a boost in the career
department, while Jupiter in your financial sector is still holding with
possibilities. If you are looking for work, it is likely that you will
find the right thing this month. If you are wanting to change jobs, this
is the month. Make this month work for you!
Virgo (August 23 - September 22):
You really have a boost this month in
terms of luck! There have been some messy things happening due to Uranus
being in your opposite sign of Pisces, but there is a silver lining to
the cloud. Don’t worry! You will find that you will come out ahead in
the long run, so don’t worry yourself. If others are giving you support,
don’t be picky with them. They may have something to offer that you
hadn’t thought about!
Libra (September 23 - October 22):
Okay, on the surface it seems that
Saturn in watery, emotional Cancer isn’t doing you any favors. Uranus in
Pisces is also distracting you quite a bit and you are likely finding it
hard to think. So don’t think too hard! Move toward Spring with the
attitude of picking battles important enough to fight but small enough
to win. This is a time to really get your priorities straight and stick
to them. You can do it! And go to concerts!
Scorpio (October 23 - November 22):
If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em!
This isn’t really a very good time to try and throw your weight
around....you are likely outnumbered. Being the Keeper of Secrets, if
you are overloaded with other people’s stuff, purge yourself of it and
focus on your own inner quality of life. We are moving into a very
intense time and you will need your wits about you so clear out the
winter clutter and get ready to rise to the occasion.
Sagittarius (November 23 - December 20):
You are now so vector
splattered you don’t know which end is up! Thank Uranus in Pisces for
that, Archer. This is looking to be an incredible month for you, as you
make long range plans. Very long range. Current frustrations are only
temporary, and with so much to do, so much to think about, it’s time for
you to lighten your load. The world is calling you. Answer it. Choose
carefully.
Capricorn (December 21 - January 19):
Well, some things are going your
way, and you can thank everyone except for crank old Saturn for that.
This is an introspective time for you, you may feel that you should be
out doing things but just don’t have the momentum. Don’t worry about it,
this will pass. As the month progresses, you will have opportunities to
meet up with others who support your ideas and want to hear more. You
could also be asked to be the spearhead for a project. Consider it,
because aspects are favorable.
Aquarius (January 20 - February 19):
Okay so we are now in a very crazy
time for you. Lots of things are flying in many directions and your
attention is split. This could make others around you feel very crabby,
but they will have to be patient. Financial concerns are at the fore,
and you could well be experiencing sudden gains or losses so be prepared
for whatever comes. Lots of activity for you this month! Be sure you get
enough rest so you don’t get a cold.
Pisces (February 20-March 20):
Wow, you go, Pisces! This is a time
when the only choices you have are to make no definite choices! But this
month holds some lucky breaks for you, so take them. You think in the
long term but right now you need to think in a stepwise fashion. Don’t
be away with the fairies if opportunity comes knocking! You are the
consummate Dreamer, and right now the world needs Dreamers. Write them
down!
