And what better way to live this splendid life than to make oneself more available! I’m looking around my new home here in cyberspace...hmmm...I love the colors! My column has a new, fresh look. I hope you like it!
If we have clear skies, watch for the Leonid Meteor Showers, which will peak tomorrow night, November 19. Although there will be a Full Moon which won’t help with sighting the Leonids, there is an annular (partial) Lunar Eclipse which will be at its maximum around 5:45 p.m. The two events together should be eye-catching if we have clear skies.
Planetary changes this week are: Mercury moves into Sagittarius on Tuesday, Venus in Scorpio comes out of retrograde on Wednesday, and the Sun moves into Sagittarius on Friday. A busy, busy week!
Without further ado, let’s get on with the forecasts as we hurtle toward the close of 2002.
Aries (March 21 - April 20): This week has you up and running again. No doubt you’re going to engage in some creative risk-taking. Hold your patience and don’t get too far ahead of the pack or you’ll lose your comrades (you usually pick comrades that act as ballast for you). As we swing into the Holiday Season with trepidation, you’re "who cares, let’s have a party!" attitude will come in handy.
Taurus (April 21 - May 20):
Now that Venus is turning direct, something that’s been on hold is moving forward. Interesting revelations and new information take form and you’re ready to make some choices. Choices are good things! Being a Bull, you don’t like being hemmed in, unless there’s lots of sweet clover to distract you. Making changes is difficult, but these times call for a freedom that is different. You can do it!
Gemini (May 21 - June 20):
Okay Gemini, there are lots of things to think about and you’re gonna have to do a forced landing! Do you have the sniffles? Well I wonder why!!! Your swiftly moving mind and rapt attention on several different things at the same time have likely burned your poor little body’s immune system right up. This isn’t your strongest time of year, so be sure you’re warm and have an hour a day to unwind and be totally alone. Be good to yourself!
Cancer (June 21 - July 22):
Your trying to keep up with what’s going on all over the place is endearing. But let’s face it, you’re not built for endurance. Your sign is a fight-or-flight native, and although you have six legs and a pair of pincers to work with, don’t accept the invitation to go to battle with personalities who want to drag it out. Listen to your best instincts, keep it simple and quit arguing with yourself!
Leo (July 23 - August 22):
Tuesday’s Full Moon and partial eclipse fall in your Solar Sector of Career, so while one door may be closing, another one is definitely opening. You do have patience, and with the Moon falling where it is, write things down. There may be a book in your somewhere! Make up a fairy tale in your head and give yourself a lead role. Just make it up and write it for fun. You’ll be surprised by the results!
Virgo (August 23 - September 22):
Uh-oh Virgo, Mercury and the Sun are about to move into bouncy Sagittarius. If you’re worried about protocol and order and going by the book, you’d be best off learning how to color outside the lines. Be easy on yourself, don’t look for problems where there aren’t any, and quit worrying about that little pile of clutter that keeps staring at you. There are other priorities to be tended to now. Give yourself a break!
Libra (September 23 - October 22):
Mercury flies into Sagittarius and that means you get to be a party animal! You’re going to be feeling downright sociable, so put on your dancing shoes and add your own brand of presence to the event. There are two distinct parts to you: The generous-make-everyone-happy side and the I’m-taking-charge-you-bloomin’-idiots side. You can use these simultaneously, you know. A little practice and you’ll get what you want.
Scorpio (October 23 - November 22):
During the worst time of the year for finances to improve, it looks like yours can and will if you take an opportunity presented to you. It will be a stretch, but if the personalities behind the offer are true to their word, it will work out. If they’re not, well, you are the Master of Revenge so you’ll take no prisoners. Ha! Get your thoughts out, be sure communication is clear, and put it on paper. Then go for it.
Sagittarius (November 23 - December 20):
Mercury and the Sun joining Pluto in your sign make it look as if it’s all easy. You know it’s not and who cares what other people think?! Many new things are hatching in your life and you’ve either made the conscious choice to focus or Life has dictated that you funnel your energies in one direction. In any event, your new contacts are valuable, new friends will be true comrades, and delight is yours! Bask in it.
Capricorn (December 21 - January 19):
Venus moving forward again this week gets some things unstuck for you. Whew, it’s about time! Tuesday’s partial Lunar Eclipse occurs in your Solar House of Home and Hearth. You may dig up some interesting information about your ancestry, or perhaps a female relative comes forth with information for you. In any case, this week triggers a new beginning for you in terms of identifying your role within your family of origin. Spend some time with old photographs and see what happens!
Aquarius (January 20 - February 19):
Perhaps you’re feeling that this is your Age (of Aquarius) and somehow it’s also your fault. Put that idea to rest; you were born into a system already in place and in movement when you came into being. What has shaped your growth and ideas is the same source that you spring from today. If you’re happy, don’t change a thing. If you’re not happy, you’d better cast out some old habits! You can do that now, especially with the fresh influence of the planets during the next few weeks.
Pisces (February 20-March 20)
Doggone it, just when you thought you’d memorized the story line, somebody changes the script! How rude. Well, put your righteous indignation in your back pocket, unpack your brown paper sack and have some lunch. Yeah, yeah, there is pressure, but that’s old news. What’s new is putting your ideas into action. True, decisive action, no excuses, no compromises. Now therein lies an adventure that any Pisces will surely want to grab up.
