June 16 - 22, 2003

Aries (March 21 - April 20):
A spectacular trine between lucky Jupiter
and transformative Pluto in fellow fire signs sets you up for a very
long time! This is when you must stand by your principles no matter
what. If you don.t have a solid inner core, you may get distracted. I
don.t mean simply have an opinion; look inside of yourself and get a
grip on your values then stick by them. You have a lot going for you now
and the results are long term.
Taurus (April 21 - May 20):
With Mercury and Venus both occupying your
second house of resources and finances, you.re inspired to think outside
the box. Good for you! Nurture what you have and you.ll do well. You.re
prone to being careful with your money anyway, and this is good. Take
care with investments or something that appears too good to be true
though. You still have elusive Neptune working against you. Take each
day on its own merit and stay focused!
Gemini (May 21 - June 20):
Mars glides into watery Pisces this week, and
your energies might be misdirected. This may tempt you to make promises
you can.t keep, and if you do that you.ll lose credibility. You don.t
like commitments anyway, so avoid them if you can. Miscommunications
could come up at work, leaving you frustrated. Just weather it for now,
Twin. Some things just aren.t under your direct control.
Cancer (June 21 - July 22):
Fiery Mars moves into watery Pisces this
week, and on Sunday the Sun moves into your sign. Opportunities to meet
some new folks come your way, and if you are self-employed, you.re
likely to see an increase in business. On the flip side, you may feel in
need of assistance that is simply not forthcoming. Check your needs list
and prioritize. Folks are stretched right now, don.t push. Practice
self-sufficiency.
Leo (July 23 - August 22):
Do you ever have a lot going for you! Jupiter
in your sign kisses up to powerful Pluto in friendly Sagittarius.
Opportunities could come through casual encounters and serve to lift
your spirits. If you have a hobby you enjoy, get to it! Make the time to
rest your brain and allow the good things to come through on their own
accord. Don.t try to control, just manage. It.s much easier that way. In
any case, you should have a lot to smile about!
Virgo (August 23 - September 22):
No doubt about it, you work hard!
Sometimes it feels like you have to work twice as hard to get half as
far, but that.s because you.re thorough. Lots of people like to just do
a slam, bam, duct tape and rubber band, there, it.s all fixed (for now)
kind of thing, but not you. So feel good about that and let yourself
shine! The opinions of others don.t matter, what matters is how you feel
about yourself. If something inside you is askew, set about fixing it.
Libra (September 23 - October 22):
If your scales are tipped (which they
usually are), take heart. You have a lot going for you from the big,
powerful planets that occupy fire and air. Mercury and Venus are gliding
through your fellow air sign Gemini, and you.re lit up like a Christmas
tree! What will you do with all of that? If you can.t turn it out into
the world (which is going further out of balance by the day), then spend
time each day doing what you love, or pick up a skill you.ve always
wanted to learn. Invest well in yourself.
Scorpio (October 23 - November 22):
Your co-ruler Mars moves into Pisces
this week, throwing even more focus into spirituality and random acts of
kindness. And don.t forget to be kind to yourself! Your waters run deep,
and if you have any grudges or past hurts, do your best to let them go.
This doesn.t mean make the same mistake twice. Control is in the area of
self improvement and growth. You.re the only one who has control over
that and nobody can take it from you.
Sagittarius (November 23 - December 20):
If you add one more thing to
your plate you.ll drop it! Right now the focus needs to be on you and
the quality of your life. Yeah, it.s fine to give a helping hand, but
only if you have it to give. You are a gregarious and generous sign, but
the physical world is limited. Your spirit is not. Keep working on
balancing the two worlds and dance between them without stepping on your
own toes.
Capricorn (December 21 - January 19):
Being the sign that governs, you
may be trying to rule the world around you. Well, unless you.re in a
public office with a high rank, that.s not likely to happen. Time to
take a break and reassess. What kinds of demands are you placing on
yourself and others? Are they reasonable? Are they realistic? You.re a
Cardinal sign that likes things to happen right now but patience will
get you a lot further than force. Gently, gently.
Aquarius (January 20 - February 19):
T Lots and lots to do and think
about, but don.t let your head run away with you. You don.t like changes
unless you initiate them. Fretting about things you can.t control isn.t
going to make things better. Denying the concerns you have isn.t going
to work either. Just roll with it. These are times of extreme stress and
fear; even though you.re an air sign and tend to throw empathy into
thought, you.re feeling it at a level. Don.t let it get you off balance.
Pisces (February 20-March 20)
Mars moves into your sign this week,
joining up with mighty Uranus. This should light a fire under you! Use
all that energy to move forward, to do some serious regrouping and
shoring yourself up. Rather than lamenting about what .should be,.
accept .what is. and get in the game. Until the collective stabilizes a
bit, there may be some things that are just not realistic to expect. So
stay away from expectations. You can do that! You might be delighted
with the surprises!
