A free four-week creative writing workshop with local author and writing instructor Judith Azrael begins from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, February 16 at San Juan Island library. Present your writing, get help with editing, discuss any problems you are having, talk about publishing and share in the joys and difficulties of writing.
Any level of writing experience is welcome and any genre including poetry, memoirs, stories, journals, parts of novels and travel writing. Azrael has taught writing for many years, and her work has appeared widely in magazines. Four books of her poetry and a collection of her stories and lyric essays have been published.
