House Bill 1113 passed 96-0 in the state House of Representatives February 22, 2013. The bill requires the Department of Ecology to identify the peer-reviewed science, scientific literature, and other sources of information being relied upon before taking significant agency action related to certain agency programs.
Rep. Jeff Morris (D- Mount Vernon) and Paul Harris, (R-Vancouver) were the two representatives not voting.
The legislation is now referred to the Senate Energy, Environment & Telecommunications Committee.
