Holiday Book Sale

The time of year couldn't be busier. There are holiday sales and bazaars, holiday parties and gatherings. More reasons and great excuses than you can think of to get together with friends and family, give gifts to loved ones, and enjoy the season. Each weekend for the rest of the month we are going to have to pick and choose which activities we are going to participate in. And this must be balanced with the simple pleasure of just staying in and snuggling up on a cold night.

Well, here's one more for you that almost sneaked in under the radar this year. This Saturday from 10-2 the Friends of the Library are holding their annual holiday book sale in the library meeting room. Throughout the year the Friends secretly cull out the best of the best from the donations and put them aside for this special sale. Expect to find cookbooks and other one of a kind specialty books for all ages.

In addition to great gift books the Friends will have their Christmas cards and other small gifts for sale. This year the Christmas cards are priced to sell as they are hoping to sell out their inventory and get of the card business. So now is the time to stock up.

As always money raised by the Friends goes directly to the Library to fund programming and other special items that wouldn't otherwise be covered by our operating budget. By coming the Friends Holiday Book Sale you can get great gifts that give twice as much! We hope to see you there.
