The answer was yes

posted 04/21/2007 Well, we now have the complete story thanks to another reliable source. According to Dez, Kirsten Olshefsky and Erik Wells were talking
about the Tolo dance and the prom. The
challenge was: If Kirsten stepped up to ask
Erik to Tolo in a cool and interesting way, in return he would ask
her to prom in a cool and interesting way. She created big yellow signs that were posted from
Rouleau Road to Harbor Street in town. At each mile marker a different
sign was clearly visible with a different word written in big black
letters and a blue or green balloon, starting with 1. ERIK 2. will 3.
you 4. please 5. go 6. to 7. Tolo 8. with 9. me? This is what he saw as
he drove into town for school the next morning. Of course he said yes!
Now the big wait and see, how was he going to ask her? Thursday was
his display of creativity. She was picked up from home by Jens Townsend and delivered to the movie theater where Erik was
standing and waiting under the sign with a dozen red roses! And as you
can see she did say yes!
