Forums on affordable housing tax setposted 04/14/2006
San Juan Island Forum will be held at Friday Harbor High School Commons from 7 to 9 pm on Tuesday, April 18. Speakers include Karen Vedder, Carrie Brooks, Larry Soll, Kevin Ranker, Lee Sturdivant, and the forum will be moderated Gay Wilmerding of the League of Women Voters. The Orcas Forum to be held at the Orcas Senior Center from 7 to 9 pm on Wednesday, April 19. Loreena Stankevich will moderate the panel which will include Karen Vedder, Wally Gudgell, Paul Losleban and others. The Lopez Forum will be held on Thursday, April 20 from 7 to 8:30 pm at the Lopez School. Liz Illg from the League of Women Voters will moderate the panel which will include Karen Vedder and others. The public is invited and encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to learn about this important issue. The San Juan Forum will be videotaped and copies will be made available at all island libraries. |
