Drivers on Orcas Island have the greatest chance of being stopped by a deputy. The sheriff office statistics for 2001 list 855 traffic stops on the Horseshoe Island. San Juan Island leads in animals at large complaints with 146 compared to 61 on Orcas and 54 on Lopez.
