The sellout audience at the 2007 Festival of Trees raised more than $73,000 for the San Juan Community Theatre. The annual event by the Community Arts and Theatre Society includes entertainment and silent and live auctions.
This year's Razzle Dazzle
evening was dedicated to Ted Soares, CATs' favorite show man.
Ted moved to San Juan in 1989 after a long career in show business.
He started as an actor then he turned his talent to staging, costuming and design. After
retiring Ted brought his gifts to the
community theatre where he has been directing shows ever since. Doug Bison was the mc. Trish Lehman was the auctioneer. She was assisted by Farhad Ghatan. Roche Harbor Executive Chef Bill Shaw provided the appetizers. and Marilee, the new owner of the Sweet Spot provided the desserts.
