Artisans Marketplace open again today

Dozens of island artisans have booths at the 24th Annual Island Artisans Holiday Marketplace in Friday Harbor Elementary School. Honey, bulbs, herbs and spices, gingerbread houses, masks, nightlights, photos, prints, painting, jewelry, yarn, hats, felted mittens and more are on sale from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. today. Food by Katrina's is also available.

John Pachuta watched as his daughter Jessie sampled honey at Lee and Harry's booth at the Island Artisans Holiday Marketplace yesterday.

Marsha McAllister and Kim Espinoza's booth features a variety of affordable housing (gingerbread houses).

Wynn Barnard, Kara and Jenny Dunn sold necklaces and earrings.

Beth Spadaflora's colorful masks attracted interested buyers.
