The Grinch and all the Whos in Whoville performed a short version of "How The Grinch Stole Christmas", for island children at the Pony Clubs' Annual Breakfast with Santa Dec. 1, 2007.

A A special breakfast cooked by the staff of Downrigger's Restaurant was served. Professional photographs of Santa and the children were available from Anne Sheridan Photography Studio. will be available for $10. A team of make-up artists did face painting on young and old.

The annual event is a fundraiser to benefit the instructional program of the San Juan County Pony Club. Pony Club is an organization which began in Great Britain to teach children to have fun safely with horses. Our members range in age from 7-20 and are a shining example of how children of all ages can work together to learn and teach each other all aspects of horsemanship.

The club provides regular bi-weekly mounted instruction for all members appropriate to their level of experience. Members also attend off-island Northwest regional events such as rallies and clinics. Our instructional program includes a local summer pony club camp, with lessons offered by nationally-rated instructors.
