The annual Historical Day festivities were held on Orcas Island July 2, 2006.

Crowds lined both sides of North Beach Road as the annual Historical Days parade started Saturday, July 1, 2006 in Eastsound.

Susan Osborne sang the National Anthem.

The Voyle B. Martin Post 93 American Legion Color Guard led the parade.

Hackett-Larson Post 163 American Post 163 Color Guard came over from Friday Harbor to march in the parade.

The Grand Marshalls of the parade.

Orcas Island Chamber Music Festival was promoted.

Magic Air Biplane Rides entry included miniature flyers.
