Children scrambled to find the gold and silver-painted eggs at the 43rd Annual Easter Egg Hunt at Roche Harbor. Nestled among the 3,600 hardboiled eggs were the six special eggs which could be redeemed for prizes.

The 7 to 11 year old age group took off fast.

The hunt was divided into three age groups, the eggs in this garden were for the 4 and 5 year olds.

Brent Snow showed the children what the silver and gold eggs looked like.

Seven-month-old Bailey Mayes checked out the Easter Bunny.

Grace Shaw of San Juan Island found the silver egg in the 4 and 5 year old category.

Five-year-old Shelley Freeman of Auburn found one of the gold eggs.

Isabella Davis of Friday Harbor took home a prize after turning in a silver egg.
