Eager children leaned against the ropes as they waited for the start of Roche Harbor's Annual Easter Egg Hunt Sunday, March 27, 2005.

Dozens of photos were taken of the Easter Bunny.

Natalie Chevalier kept an eye on the seven to eleven age group as they waited for the start of the hunt.

The four to six year olds scurried to find eggs.

The youngest age group gathered eggs from the garden.

A father and son discussed egg hunting strategy.

Two-year-old Issac Shaw of Roche Harbor showed Brent Snow the gold egg he found.

The team of Paige Fields and Jordan Williams of Friday Harbor found a gold egg.

Arlo Cedric Lidell, 4, of La Conner found a silver egg. Maya Bauer, 4, of Friday Harbor (in the background) found the gold egg in the same age category.

Sander Van Hamersfeldt, 2, of Friday Harbor found a silver egg.

Entries in the "Guess the Number of Jellybeans in the Jar" contest were sorted. Eddie Nash won the jellybeans and $20. His guess was the closest to the correct answer of 888.

Divided into three age groups, the children searched the gardens for eggs. A gold and silver egg was hidden in each of the three areas. The special eggs were traded in for prizes.

Pink was the color of choice for many of the girls.

Dylan Demaris, 10, of Lopez Island found a silver egg.
