Many colorful hands make light work
April 21, 2000

Matt Pranger photos

(Clockwise from top) Liza Jacobson and Genoa London-Platt check out the colorful results of the volunteer work on April 21. Ashley Black, fifteen-months old, was one of the youngest helpers, when members of the Friday Harbor Firefighters Association dyed eggs for Sunday's egg hunt. Candace Richter wore a festive mask as she worked on the orange eggs. Marissa Hubbard showed her skill with the mop during clean up time. The broken eggs were set aside. Sam Brown, age 2 1/2 was up to his elbows in orange. Cartons of colorful eggs were the result of all the hard work.
