The annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner in the San Juan Island Grange Hall drew friends and families together Nov. 24, 2005. Volunteers cooked, served and cleaned up after the traditional feast.

Islanders Insurance, Kings Market and Windermere underwrote the event.

 Girls Scouts, Boy Scouts, Kiwanis, Lions, Rotarians, Soroptimists, the American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary and the Friday Harbor Grange sponsored the event.
