Family and friends gathered at Fir Oak farm on San Juan Valley Road Saturday, September 6, 2003 for Guard Sundstrom and Connie Burns' wedding reception. Guests wore their favorite hat or bonnet. Pumpkin pie replaced the traditional wedding cake. (Sundstrom and Burns annual pumpkin harvest is a popular event for island children.)

Guests, including the irrepressible Clyde Sundstrom, danced to the music of Tom Doenges and Deb Gottsman.
