Livestock auction raises $34K

Saturday afternoon, San Juan County 4-H members watched as their livestock were auctioned off. Many of the successful bidders donated the livestock back to be rebid. The first bid amount went to the individual 4-H person who raised the animal. Money raised on the rebids goes to the 4-H council. More than $34,000 was raised at the livestock auction at the 2004 San Juan County Fair.
