MINUTES OF SPECIAL COMMISSIONERS MEETING
October 28, 2003
The October 28, 2003 Special Meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the San Juan County FPD #2 was called to order by Chairman John Erly at 1:00 P.M. at the Eastsound Firehall. The Special meeting, an executive session only, was also attended by Commissioner Phalan, Commissioner Olsan, Chief Gary Bennett and EMS Division Chief Garth Eimers, the Administrative Assistant Pam Harney and Dean Stupke. The meeting was called pursuant to RCW 42.30.140(g) regarding an applicant for public employment and personnel issue.
Notice of the Special Meeting of the Board in Executive Session was posted.
Due to the Special Meeting of The Board of Commissioners for discussion of the Fire District portion of the proposed 2004 Budget scheduled for 2:00 PM, the executive session was continued until approximately 3:00 P.M.
The Executive Session resumed at 2:46PM with Chief Bennett and the three Commissioners only in attendance. At 3:25PM Pam Harney and Dean Stupke were brought back into the executive session. Discussion of any personnel issue regarding Ms. Harney will be discussed at the regular meeting of the Board of Commissioners on November 11, 2003.
ADJOURNMENT:
Chairman Erly announced that no decisions were made. There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 3:42 P.M.
