Girl Scout Troop 1949 ready to serve

posted 09/30/03
Girl Scout Troop 1949 of Friday Harbor focuses their energy on helping three island institutions - Wolf Hollow, Islands Convalescent Center and the Animal Shelter.

One of the ways the girls help Wolf Hollow is by picking fruit to donate to the wildlife rehabilitation organization. Berries, apples, pears can all be used by Wolf Hollow. Contact co-leader Robin at 378-6932 if you have fruit you would like to donate.

The troop held a carwash Sept. 28 to raise money. Five of the six troop members were kept busy scrubbing cars at Carquest on Spring Street. (One girl was out of town).
