Inaugural Kings Market Three Lakes Triathlon June 22

This Saturday, June 22, beginning at 9:00 a.m. will kick off the inaugural Kings Market Three Lakes Triathlon at Lakedale Resort. There are two (2) courses, a sprint distance and an Olympic distance. Each includes a swim, bike and run, in that order.

An opening reception for artist Scott Salsbury's exhibit, Dreams of Color, will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, June 21 in San Juan Island Community Theater. The exhibit will be on display through July 22.

John (Jack) Myron Kidder, 88, of Anacortes went to be with his wife, Celeste, on Friday morning, June 7, 2013 at Fidalgo Care Center. He was born on November 21, 1923, in Anacortes, the son of Ernest John (E.J.) and Marcella Ann (Stankus) Kidder, the oldest of four children.
