We’ve done it! The New Moon in Pisces is the last of the backwash in this pileup of planets in one sign and since Pisces is the sign of Endings/Collective Unconscious/Hidden Depths we’ve all managed to scare ourselves in one way or the other these past few weeks. We’ve each dealt with it in a different way, and while Mercury is still retrograde in Pisces through this week, we will now be able to see some forward movement.
On Tuesday the Moon and Mars will join Uranus in Aries, and this immediate inrush of fiery energy will startle many and be the harbinger of things to come, which will be more change and new growth. Since Uranus is involved, this new growth won’t be predictable but it will certainly be enthusiastic. Remember, these are the days of the last gasps of the old order, the outdated manner of conducting business on every level and the fall of what doesn’t work anymore.
We should now watch for upheavals and push for new ideas, a new generation, upgraded protocols and a fresh approach. It will be futile to holler out, “but we’ve never done it that way!” because now it’s about experimentation, a true “can do” attitude and an open mind.
We have another Yod (that rare aspect that is potent and noble, marking divine intervention in a birth chart) and this one is pointing at Jupiter. It looks like an Isosceles Triangle with its apex on Jupiter and its base corners on Pluto in Capricorn and Saturn in Scorpio. The duration of this Yod is extraordinarily long, all the way to March 31; another unprecedented event. Yes, it’s going to heat up in the political spheres but since the onus is on Jupiter, exchange of information, cooperation and focus is the attitude needed and rewarded.
This Yod calls for us to end the polarized manner in which we’ve approached our thinking and reinvent our outlook. New options and opportunities are beginning to sprout and if we can harness them, we increase our chances of prospering rather than merely surviving. This could be a really fun time of discovery, and teamwork is essential.
The PANStarrs comet will now be visible in the northern hemisphere just after sunset; look west toward the crescent moon and you’ll be able to see it, low to the horizon.
We’ve made it, folks! Now let’s get out there and do some really good stuff!

Aries (March 21 - April 20): The New Moon in Pisces will simply add a punch to the stellium which will begin to break up this week. Guess what? Your Ruler Mars is the first to leave the maddening crowd along with the Moon. On Tuesday you will feel the huge difference and a rush of energy, shooting you out of the depths and plonking you down on the shore picking off seaweed. Mercury is still retrograde so don’t run off and start something new yet since we still have this week of dragging the bottom but you are definitely going to feel the shift in energy this week. Show us the way out!

Taurus (April 21 - May 20): The New Moon on Monday in Pisces will be the last hurrah of the stellium; on Tuesday both the Moon and Mars leave the depths and emerge into energetic Aries; this could be a day of incoming distractions such that you’re not paying attention and could suffer an accident of some kind. Stay grounded! The Moon and Mars will be in the company of mighty, chaotic Uranus and since Mercury is still retrograde you must expect the unexpected. Still, it’s a shift and change and we now slowly emerge from the depths to turn to the sun. Steady as she goes!

Gemini (May 21 - June 20): The New Moon in Pisces will dredge up the last of the silt in your depths so you may have a kind of weird beginning to the week but take heart! On Tuesday both the Moon and Mars move out of Pisces and into energetic Aries. You will feel the immediate relief as your head begins to clear and expansive Jupiter in your sign begins to send and receive clear signals to your sector of Friends/Goals, promoting forward movement. Mercury is still retrograde until the end of the week but you definitely see the light at the end of the tunnel so move toward it and don’t trip over anything!

Cancer (June 21 - July 22): The New Moon in Pisces signals the end of an arduous period and on Tuesday both the Moon and Mars leave the Pisces stellium and move into energetic Aries, your sector of Career/Highest Potential. This could put you at center stage for change that may be abrupt and startling, but ultimately good for you. Remember, Mercury is still retrograde all week so don’t make any final decisions until next week but now that the element of fire is coming into play you can dry out the moldy basement of your unconscious and end any self sabotage you may have fallen into. Turn your face to the sun!

Leo (July 23 – August 22): Monday’s New Moon in Pisces may have you thinking that nothing is ever going to get better but on Tuesday both the Moon and Mars leave the Pisces stellium and emerge into energetic Aries; this will ignite activity in your sector of Expansion and allow you to catch a glimpse of where you really want to go from here. With Mercury still retrograde you will be able to find the kinks in stuff before it manifests and take corrective action. You will really notice the difference with Mars in his own sign, able to receive clear signals from Jupiter in your sector of Friends/Goals. Communication in general will greatly improve this week.

Virgo (August 23 ) One last hurrah from the Pisces pileup as the New Moon scrapes bottom and on Tuesday both Moon and Mars leave the stellium and adorn themselves in energetic Aries, igniting activity like a bold out of the blue in your sector of Shared Assets/Intimacy. This could spark dealing with someone else’s money in the form of a loan, gift or grant, initiating a change for you. If you’ve been struggling financially, look for relief now in the second half of March. With Mercury still retrograde though, beware of hidden agendas or weird expectations. Jupiter in your sector of Career/Highest Potential is helping you keep your own best interest in mind as well as giving you a broader vision.

Libra (September 23 - October 22): You’re about to come blasting out of “sleep mode;” the New Moon in Pisces puts the finishing touches on this unprecedented stellium, then on Tuesday both Moon and Mars move into Aries, your sector of Relationships. Of course, Uranus is hanging out there just waiting for some company to start a party with, so with suddenly three planets in that sign your week will take a corner on two wheels; Jupiter in your companion air sign Gemini will feed you the information you need to know as long as you give yourself the space to hear it. It may all be like being blasted out of a cannon for you, but forewarned is forearmed so pack that lunch and get ready to roll!

Scorpio (October 23 - November 22): The New Moon is the last of the Pisces stellium event at its maximum then on Tuesday both Moon and Mars will move into energetic Aries, giving you a completely new canvas to work from. Mercury is still retrograde in Pisces but the sudden influx of fire energy will help you generate the steam to get that big engine moving forward, leaving the hapless Mercury behind in the dust. Still, don’t make any sudden decisions just yet! Clarity will be startling and this new momentum will take some getting used to after weeks of languishing. Prepare to change direction!

Sagittarius (November 23 - December 20): Just when you’re ready to throw in the towel, the New Moon signals the beginning of the end of the Pisces stellium and on Tuesday both Moon and Mars move into Aries; this shifts your focus into the creative realm and blows into your spirit like a rocket. Just in time, huh? Mercury is still retrograde in Pisces but this week brings new situations and projects to you that will keep you smiling and busy. If you’ve weathered this boggy time well, get ready to party and play again as the stellium breaks up and we jettison the Jell-O wading. Financial relief looks like it’s on the way as well, so keep that creative edge going.

Capricorn (December 21 - January 19): The New Moon in Pisces is the last major event in this incredible stellium; Tuesday ushers in a whole new ball game as both the Moon and Mars leave the stellium and move into your sector of Home where Uranus awaits some company so that he can send whatever signals he needs to for getting things done. You will see an immediate change this week, and more to your liking as you are able to move about again and feel some amount of control over what’s going on. You’ve learned a lot in these past few weeks, now it’s time to put that knowledge to work. Onward!

Aquarius (January 20 - February 19): Finally! The New Moon in Pisces signals an end to weeks of pull and drag, then on Tuesday both the Moon and fiery Mars leave the collective and venture into energetic Aries! Jupiter in your sector of Creative Expression will feed these two signals of new information and helpful knowledge immediately and you’ll feel like someone rewired you. Enough of the “off” switch stuff, be gone! This week brings a total upswing of energy as the last vestiges of dragging the bottom begin to fall away and a sense of renewal sweeps the land. You will be one of the beneficiaries of this change, so dust off that magic wand and take aim; your fairy dust bag suddenly refills and you’re off once again, spreading goodwill to all and sundry and receiving it as well! Shedding old skin is never fun but the arrival on the other side of it is oh, so sweet.

Pisces (February 20 - March 20): The New Moon is the last event of your stellium and hopefully you’ve weathered it well! On Tuesday the Moon and Mars break out of the pack and move into your sector of Finances/Resources, the sign of Aries. This signals a radical change of some kind regarding how you make your money. If you’ve been strapped, new avenues will show themselves to you that will be clear and concise. Mercury is still retrograde in your sign but this will enable you to research these new avenues and shore up any deficiencies. Prepare for emergence into the light and a sense of renewal! Change is never easy, but languishing is harder. Time to move on!
