There's nothing quite as sweet and messy as an old-fashioned pie-eating contest. For the fifth year in a row the San Juan Island Kiwanis Club put together the annual community get together known as the Pig War Picnic. Music, barbecue, games and a history lesson from General George Pickett kept the crowd, especially this guy, in high spirits on the grounds of the San Juan Island Historical Museum in sunny Friday Harbor on the 2012 Fourth of July holiday.
