This year the sign of Pisces occurs earlier than normal; the Sun will move into Pisces on Monday (the 18th) rather than the usual date of the 20th or the 21st. Any of you giving birth on Monday, your baby will be a Pisces.
The stellium still holds, Jupiter is still squaring it and this week we will see two spikes in the form of Yods. A Yod is an aspect of intense focus and circumstance, called the “Finger of God” by the ancient astrologers. It’s a rare aspect that will occur two times this week; the first will involve Saturn in Scorpio, Pluto in Capricorn and Jupiter in Gemini on Tuesday.
The second will occur on Saturday and will involve the Moon, Pluto and Chiron (an asteroid associated with “The Wounded Healer” archetype). This week is very likely to be newsworthy once again, as well as individually difficult for some people depending on where the Yods will form in the personal birth chart.
Big decisions are being made on every level, including deep within ourselves as we move through this uncertain world and attempt to find ways to not only adapt to it, but thrive in it. In some ways we are moving into a highly technological and impersonal era but this increases the need for a personal touch of old; reliability. Watch for a rise in skilled trades and a much more human touch with integrity.
Privacy is something that is a thing of the past now, and it is no more obvious than when a Pisces stellium occurs due to this sign being associated with no boundaries at all. This is both individual and global. This period of time is difficult for many and it’s more than just the economy, but on the other hand it’s a time of enormous creativity if we can shift our focus out of what used to be and really get a handle on what is. Granted, it’s like trying to nail Jell-O to the wall. But it can be done!
Aries (March 21 - April 20): This week will be similar to last week as the buildup in the sign of Pisces overloads your 12th solar house of Endings. Everything that isn’t useful must go, and it is a major clearing time for you; spring is right around the corner and your sign is the sign of bursting forth with life and vitality. Do what you can to keep warm, clean out clutter and dead wood/fallen leaves or pine needles and take good care of yourself. Protect your ankles and feet, especially! This is a time when an injury is possible.
Taurus (April 21 - May 20): Your social network may be erratic due to this ongoing stellium with Jupiter squaring it, your sectors of Friends/Goals and Finances are at odds with each other in a pretty big way. If you’ve loaned out money and need it back now, don’t count on it. You’re pretty good at money management, though so another interpretation is a major miscommunication that is holding something back. Saturn in your sector of Relationship is working for you though, bringing something complicated into focus and letting you see the simplicity of the solution.
Gemini (May 21 - June 20): Still feeling like you’re trying to run while waist deep in water? Time to try and slow your mind down a bit through meditation or a similar practice. The Pisces Stellium and Jupiter (in your sign)’s square to it holds but if you can put more attention into a healthy regime and moving your body around slowly (yoga, gentle water aerobics, etc.), you can get through this time unscathed; we still have a way to go with this, so make use of every de-stressing tool you have.
Cancer (June 21 - July 22): You’re one of the few signs benefiting from the strong Pisces stellium but still, with Jupiter squaring the lot you stand a risk of getting a cold or the flu or a respiratory ailment during this period. Be careful wash your hands a lot and do your best to keep your immune system strong so you can enjoy success out of this time. If you’re out of shape, do something about it, even if it’s starting small. All it takes is one step and this is a great time for you to turn a negative into a positive.
Leo (July 23 – August 22): This week will be much the same as last week but with a couple of spikes due to the Yods (see explanation above). Others around you may be irresponsible in a manner that has an impact on you and you’re likely to lift your head and roar about it this week, especially because it involves something to do with your home. You prefer to invite people over rather than have them just drop in and you certainly don’t like encroachments that disturb your den. With Saturn transiting your sector of Home, you may feel restricted by the very home you created for a sanctuary.
Virgo (August 23 ) This week has a couple of spikes in it, and the Pisces stellium is still holding in your sector of Relationship which means big changes one way or another. What this influence does is shout out what you and your partner have been ignoring or neglecting and you can either get mad and blame each other or you can come together to change it. Hopefully this week will be one of action for you in a healing way so that you can regroup into a healthier lifestyle.
Libra (September 23 - October 22): Jupiter is still on your side but is still locked into an argument with the Pisces stellium so it’s going to be difficult to determine where the boundaries are. There is too much in the air that is unanswered, too vague, an outright deception or other such disturbing influences that may have your knickers in a knot. This isn’t over yet so stay your own course, rely on yourself and your ability to change the direction because the onus is on you; everyone else around you is pretty useless, bless them. We still have another week of this mess to go.
Scorpio (October 23 - November 22):The Pisces stellium is showing up as nebulous emotional stuff going on that you can’t pin down, and that makes you really mad! You prefer that others are direct and to the point but there are folks around you that just can’t make their minds up or are using stalling tactics and excuses rather than being straight up and honest. Your intuitive prowess is incredibly strong now and so is “the Look” that only you Scorpio folks can pull off. Use it at will when you start getting riled and no one will mess with you.
Sagittarius (November 23 - December 20): This stellium isn’t really doing you any favors in terms of getting inspired since you’re really not the domestic type and you don’t like to have to make long-term commitments. Often you live in the future and not in the present; but if you can turn your attention toward your home and how it can be improved in a manner that reflects your happy soul, you’ll be amazed at the results. This stellium holds hidden creativity for you; go buy a can of paint this week, move some furniture around or freshen up your environment.
Capricorn (December 21 - January 19): This stellium is really garbling the messages, so be careful to make sure you really heard what you thought you heard. Your natural resistance to airy-fairy thinking may prompt you to miss an important clue you need if you close your mind down to someone that has wisdom to offer. As you continue on a very spiritual journey, this stellium gives you ample reason to doubt yourself and your own judgment because of the enormous creativity of it, so try to see exactly how it can help you because the Big Picture is too overwhelming.
Aquarius (January 20 - February 19): Well, our stellium in Pisces is still here and for you it’s focusing on finances…if you can grab a surfboard and catch the creative wave, your innovative thinking will be of enormous help. Saturn in your sector of Career/Highest Potential will kick in and help focus all that creativity into something you can manage. If you run around avoiding anything you’ll be smacked by “the sneaker wave” so keep it honest and don’t forget the magic!
Pisces (February 20 - March 20): This week is the first with the Sun in your sign, and the stellium in your sign is still there; trying to escape something isn’t going to do any good; this is a time for making positive changes and turning the direction of this enormous energy into something that works for you! Saturn in your sector of Expansion encourages you to focus, to get things done in a timely manner and get ahead rather than lagging behind because of procrastinating. Mark a day this week to get it all done and out of your passive thinking, then watch the magic fly!
