San Juan County Councilmember Bob Jarman ended up with a 62 vote win over former Council member Lovel Pratt in the final total released Wednesday, May 1. Jarman garnered 3,421 (50.46%) to Pratt's 3,359 (49.54%) in the race to become District 1 Council member.
In the District 2 Council race, Council member Rich Hughes ended up with 139 more votes than Lisa Byers. Hughes had 3,485 (50.94%); Byers 3,356 (49.06%).
The results for the Council member for District were never in doubt after the results were released on Tuesday, April 23. The final results as of May 1. Jamie Stephens won with 3,701 (57.08%) of the votes to increased to Brian McClerren's 2,783 (42.92%).
