I too was worried that we may have lost a good thing when our medical clinic moved to the new facility. So I went there to find out about the costs for an office visit. I did not want to be surprised.
I found that an office visit to the doctor which used to cost about $90 (cash price.) at the old clinic is now, for the same visit, same doctor, new building, a minimum of $209.
Don't get me wrong...I believe the new hospital to be a great asset to our community and will no doubt save many lives. I am, however, saddened by the loss of some of our small town ways. Time marches on.
