Read what was happening a year ago in the February 23, 1913 issue of the San Juan Islander newspaper published from 1898 to 1914. The news includes efforts to locate a state park on Orcas Island (Moran State Park) and a bill to create what we now refer to as the Capron funds.
This year's photo of the Day series will be a bit different from last year's. The same rules - must be taken this year and in the county - apply with one exception.
