The stellium in Capricorn is ending; Mercury will move into Aquarius on Saturday, followed by the Sun on Sunday. Mars is already in Aquarius so we will have three heavenly bodies in that one sign. This indicates acts of rebellion against the government or other institutions of authority in the big picture. While our government struggles with the economy and how to deal with gun control, expect to see loads of action as we move into the third week of the new year. It will be very interesting to see how events play out for the next month.
With Jupiter still in the air sign of Gemini, complimenting the planets and Sun in Aquarius, we will all be inspired in one way or another. This blast of air signs will blow out the cobwebs and the energy of unpredictable Uranus in fiery Aries will make sure we take action in one way or another to improve our own lives or the lives of others. This is a truly humanitarian time, with the only problem of people being unable to agree on what “improvement” is. We will see an upswing in intelligence on many levels, and this could indicate improvements in education and the sciences including medicine and research.
One thing I’ve found very amusing is how lost some folks feel now that the “end of the world” hysteria is over. Once again, it didn’t happen so what do they do? They blame the Mayans! Never mind that the Mayans were the last people on the planet to say that the world was going to end anyway. This is a good reminder of how flawed interpretations can be, and how fear mongering can be very lucrative.

Aries (March 21 - April 20): The dynamic of this week will change as the planets in your sector of Career/Authority/Highest Potential move one by one into your sector of Friends/Goals. By the end of the week we will experience a new stellium in the sign of Aquarius and it will shake things up. Stay grounded and keep your eye on firm ground. Many distractions will offer themselves up but you are able to pick and choose which ones are in your own best interest. Strong opinions will be voiced, but only proof will deem whether or not they are well founded.
Gemini (May 21 - June 20) This week will break up the monotony as one by one the planets holding you under their thumb in your sector of Shared Assets/Intimacy move into your sector of Expansion; the sign of Aquarius will hold the cards by the weekend and you will feel like a blast of fresh air has hit you, especially when your Ruler Mercury moves there on Saturday. Until then, unstable energy will be rampant due to the normal phase shift that happens when planets change signs; this may be a quirky week for you.
Cancer (June 21 - July 22): Don’t look for a lot of stability this week due to the Sun and Mercury preparing to change signs and move into your sector of Shared Assets/Intimacy. On Sunday the sign of Aquarius takes over, with the Sun, Mercury and Mars all in that sign. It will be a whole different ball game. Venus will remain in your sector of Relationship, but whatever you’ve had to undergo to keep up your end of the bargain will serve you well in the coming weeks.
Leo (July 23 – August 22): This will be a rather unstable week as Mercury and the Sun change signs and move from your sector of Work/Health into your sector of Relationship, joining fiery Mars. This will create another stellium (three or more planets in one sign) and the tone will change as you will attract new and exciting people into your life. Things will be unpredictable so discretion is advised. Your normal routine is likely to change over the next month, making way for more socializing and time with the people you are closest to.
Virgo (August 23 - September 22 ) More adapting for you this week as the Sun and Mercury prepare to leave your sector of Creative Expression and move into your sector of Work/Health. A new stellium will form in the sign of Aquarius when these two join Mars in that sign. The Sun and Mercury will join energetic Mars in your sector of Thinking/Communication and throw you right into a different and more expanded mode of networking, working and getting things done. Your love of animals will also be enhanced in terms of your pals asking for your assistance with the adoption or purchase of a pet or two. Get ready to fill your financial coffers too as work trickles in.
Capricorn (December 21 - January 19): How creative can you be with your finances? You’ll find out soon when the Sun and Mercury leave your sign and move into your sector of Money/Resources at the end of the week. You may encounter some bumps this week due to these two planets preparing to leave your sign, joining fiery Mars in the sign of Aquarius. You don’t like to deviate from conventional thinking any more than you have to, but now’s the time to upgrade your methodology and see what’s trending.
