San Juan County Council will hold a public hearing at 10:15 a.m. Tuesday, April 9 in the legislative building at 55 Second Street to consider an ordinance delaying the implementation of the adopted update to the Critical Areas Ordinance.
A discussion of the proposed amendment to the charter proposed by Council members Rich Peterson and Marc Forlenza is set for 10:45 a.m. Public comment will be accepted.
At 1 p.m. the council will discuss the proposed inter-local agreement with Skagit County for disposal of solid waste from San Juan County.
At 1:30 p.m. a draft ordinance regarding advisory committees will be discussed. At 3:15 p.m. there will be a discussion of appointing Jobin Sutherland and Greg Ayers to the Eastsound Planning Review Committee.
