The primary election winnowed the field of candidates in the race for Port of Lopez District 2 Commissioner down to two candidates. Suzanne Berry had 318 votes; Stephen K. Adams received 276 and Ken Knutsen is out of the race after receiving 120 votes.

Born in Astoria, Oregon January 21, 1923. Passed away peacefully May 3, 2013 surrounded by his loved ones.
He graduated from Astoria in 1941 and from Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois in 1950.
