PRESS RELEASE: A $90,782 from the Washington State Department of Transportation/ Aviation Division, accepted by the Port of Friday Harbor June 28, 2012, provides a portion of the “local matching funds” required for this summer’s FAA-funded Taxiway Reconstruction Project.

Federal grant funds in the amount of $3,389,599 will be used for the project. The State Department of Transportation provided approximately $179,000 for previous projects at Friday Harbor Airport.
