Letters to Editor - 2013 Election
I met Lovel Pratt shortly after she moved to the island with her husband and toddler son. Since then I've watched with admiration as she worked in the community to insure that it continued to be the nurturing, vibrant place so many of us had chosen to raise our families. Her work for affordable housing, the farming community, and children's issues have enhanced the lives of everyone in the county.
But it is her work on the county council that most impresses me. She is thoughtful and thorough and truly wants to know what everyone thinks. She listens to all sides with an open mind before coming to a decision. Lovel has taken the time to build solid relationships at the state level in Olympia which benefit all of us in San Juan County.
For all these reasons I feel grateful to be able to vote for Lovel.
