San Juan County Council Marc Forlenza suffered a heart attack Tuesday morning (April 2, 2013) and was flown to PeaceHealth Medical Center (St. Joe's) in Bellingham. He was flown back home at noon Thursday, April 4, 2013.
According to his friends: They put a stent in on Tuesday. Marc gives kudos to the fine EMT’s and Paramedics here. In all likelihood their quick response saved his life.
Forlenza's district includes Friday Harbor. He was elected November 6, 2012 for four years but his term ends May 13 because of the Charter changes.
