Nearly 400 students saw firsthand the damaging effects unhealthy choice have on human organs at a presentation Wednesday, September 12 of Choice and Consequence. Colleen Williams, PMHRNP, showed the students human organs, some of them damaged from alcohol and drug use.
The San Juan Island Prevention Coalition, Rock Solid Youth Group, Islanders Bank, Sweet Retreat and the Mullis Family sponsored the event and the Friday Harbor Presbyterian Church provided the use of their space.
