The Seattle Times published an article this past weekend: Hospitals’ proposed affiliation with Catholic systems opposed which is relevant to health care in the San Juans. PeaceHealth Peace Island Medical Center is part of PeaceHealth, a Catholic Health Care Ministry.

PeaceHealth is expected to respond to Island Hospital's request for proposals. The hospital is located in Anacortes.
