Check out NOAA's Northwest Fisheries Science Center (NWFSC) web page for new maps showing the track of K25, an adult male Southern Resident killer whale that was tagged on Dec. 29, 2012.
The NWFSC is currently on a research cruise off the coast and has deployed a satellite tag on L88, a 20-year-old male. Along with valuable sightings of K and L pods, the NWFSC is collecting fecal and prey fragment samples as the weather allows.
