The WA State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) Mobile Community Service Office is coming to Eastsound on June 18 and 19. Applications will be taken and interviews conducted for food, cash, and medical assistance as well as drug and alcohol treatment services and yearly reviews.
This is an opportunity to ask questions on active cases or about any of DSHS services.
The mobile office is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on June 18 and 19 at Orcas Community Church.
People on other islands may go to their local Community Resource Center and call DSHS directly.
