Two islanders are interested in creating a San Juan Island Tool Library and Learning Center, a place people can gather meet, and help each other out. Where you could work on that project you've been putting off, learn new skills and teach others.
There will be a meeting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 2 in San Juan Island Library meeting room.
Sarah Hanson and Carter Fuehr would like to know what the community thinks about this plan, and what support they could obtain.
Specifically they want to know:
If you like the idea and would you go to such a place?
Are you a tradesman or have a skill that you could teach?
Would you be able to help us get this project off the ground?
Do you represent a business for a possible partnership?
If you are interested in any way at all or have any questions, please contact Sarah Hanson at [email protected] or 425-698-9817 or Carter Fuehr at [email protected] or 360-298-4766. Read more on Facebook.
