Jim Lawson reeled in the $1,000 prize with his 18.26 salmon after 10 weeks of fishing in the 2013 Frank Wilson Memorial Blackmouth Fishing Derby. Pat Nash took home $500 for second with his 16.36 pounder, and Pete Nelsen received $250 for his third-place win for his 15.27 lb salmon.

It was a nailbiter in the Ladies Division. Carol Holman hooked the $250 prize for first place with her 14.17 lbs fish. Karen Rhinehart followed in second with 13.78 lbs,and Rustie Mager was 3rd with 13.07 lbs.

Cole Sampson won an Adventure Coleman tent as the Youth 1st place winner.

Brock Warin, winner of the final weekly prize of a $50 gift certificate for a 14.85 pounder, won the mystery fish prize with a weigh slip of 14.85 lb.

Karen Rhinehart received the "Angler of the Year" award for registering the most fish.

Prizes were awarded Sunday at Kings Marine in Friday Harbor. Throughout the 10-week derby, participants competed for a weekly prize of a $50 King's Market gift Certificate. Fish were weighed in at King's meat department.

King's Marine sponsored the derby. Proceeds benefit the San Juan Emergency Medical Services which was started by Frank Wilson.
