Friday Harbor High School baseball team needed to win one game Saturday, May 4 in order to be one of four teams advancing to play in next week's Tri-District Tournament. The Wolverines beat Nooksack 2-1 at 1 p.m. and with their trip to the tourney assured went on to defeat South Whidbey 6-3.
Their playoff journey began with an 8-2 home win against Blaine May 1. The Wolverines lost in the second round of the District 1 A playoffs May 2 against Mount Baker 8-4.
