San Juan County Planning Commission will meeting beginning at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, June 7 in the legislative hearing room at 55 Second Street in Friday Harbor in a continued public hearing for deliberations only on regulations for Fish and Wildlife Habitat Conservation Areas as part of the state mandated update to the county's Critical Areas Ordinance. A joint public hearing by the Planning Commission and the county Council on the draft Fish and Wildlife Habitat Conservation Area Ordinance was held May 18, 2012. The Planning Commission continued the hearing to May 25 and then to June 7.
